Eight Mile Creek Farm

The 300-acre Eight Mile Creek Farm was established in 2005 as a diversified agricultural business dealing with both animal and crop production. They grow all their crops organically and their animals do not receive any artificial growth hormones. Their meat products are grass-fed beef.
They also have pork and eggs are derived from their free-range hen. In the fall, they carve out part of their field to grow seasonal crops and flowers. You need to book in advance if you wish to visit the farm. They announce the dates on their website and social media platforms.
Brittany Hollow Farm

Sunflower picking at Brittany Hollow farm occurs daily from 7 am to 7 pm. There are many different types of flowers for picking on this 3-acre flower farm. The admission fee is $20 and this includes a bucket full of flowers.

The farm is open daily from 8 am to 6 pm and there is no admission fee to visit the farm.

Lewin farms have some of the best and juiciest apples in Long Island. This is a family-owned farm that is currently being operated by the fourth generation of the Lewin family. They have a wide variety of fruits, flowers, and vegetables available for picking during the summer and fall seasons.
In the winter, they sell cut-your-own Christmas trees. Some of the crops they grow on their farm include raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, potatoes, pumpkins, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, sweet corn, pears, and many more. You can purchase any of these crops from their farm stand. Their sunflower field is not available on a pick-your-own model.

The Fink farm is a family operation that has been running for over 50 years. The current generation operating the farm is the third generation of the Fink family. In the summer, they sell a lot of fresh-cut sunflowers, local honey, and local jams.

Queen’s County Farm Museum

The farm had been a family-run operation for almost two centuries before then. The kind of farm products they have here includes jams jellies, fruit pies, dairy products, meats, and many more.
The sunflower field is a beautiful patch that contains thousands of beautiful and bright sunflowers. You are invited to take beautiful photographs for your memory and pick some stems to carry home with you. They also sell other numerous flowers in baskets you can purchase as well.
Windy Acres Farms

The current owner of the Windy Acres Farm is the 5th generation owner. This is a beautiful u-pick farm that specializes in the growth of different crops, flowers, and fruit varieties. Everything, except grapes and berries, is available on a u-pick model.
Other crops and vegetables grown on the farm include yellow peaches, apples, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, string beans, nectarines, and potatoes. You will be charged according to the size of the bag you harvest when you visit the farm. Different mums and straws are available for purchase at the farm stand.
Borellas Farm Stand

Borellas Farm has been growing all kinds of beautiful flowers for over 60 years. They have turned their fields into beautiful botanical gardens where hundreds of different and colorful flower varieties thrive. You can order beautiful bouquets for every occasion you have in mind from this farm. Most of the flowers are grown in greenhouses in a controlled environment. Daffodils, lilies, zinnias, sunflowers, lavenders are some of the flowers thriving inside the farm.
Breeze Hill Farm
