For about two weeks in the fall, the grounds on Hall Farms are covered with hundreds of thousands of bright yellow flowers that make the place radiant at sunrise and sunset. Hall farms plant about 20 acres of sunflowers every season and visitors are allowed to cut the flowers for a small fee ($1 for each stem or 6 for $5).
Admission to the farm is free. Photo opportunities among the flowers are endless and the farm opens daily from 10 am till sunset. They will close the festival when the last flower withers

This Escanaba-based farm is a u-pick strawberry farm. Strawberry picking season usually begins around July every year. The farm started as a daily farm and expanded to grow strawberries, cabbages, pumpkins, rye, barley, corn, sugar beets, and other crops as it got passed from one generation of the Pelligrini family to the other.
They have a small sunflower field that opens up every year during the fall on a u-pick model. You can purchase freshly grown farm products from their farm store when you visit to sample the sunflowers.

They put aside about 40 acres to plant over 50,000 Christmas trees on the property. Apples, pumpkins, plums, and cherries are also grown on the farm. The farm has another 30 acres of sunflowers in Claybanks Township. Sunflowers and sunset yoga flow are some of the activities that have gained popularity on the farm. People practice yoga whilst enjoying the view of the sunset against a background of thousands of yellow blooms.
Check out their social media platform where they announce dates for opening their farm during the sunflower festival every year. Once the season is over, the sunflower seeds are harvested and bagged to be sold as bird feed.
