Fausett Sunflower Farms
Location: 11336 Hwy 136 West, Dawsonville, Georgia
The Fausett Farm is one of the oldest farms in Northern Georgia, having been in operation since 1858. It was originally a poultry farm until 2011, when the new generation of the Fausett family decided to diversify into sunflower farming. The farm already produces other crops and vegetables all year round.
They have over 30 acres of land under sunflower cultivation each year, with a yield exceeding 900,000 stems. You will be immersed in a paradise of beautiful u-pick yellow blooms when you visit this farm in the fall. They announce the dates you can visit the farm on their website and social media platforms.
Prospect Farms
Location: 1839 Prospect Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia
In June, Prospect Farm opens its gates to offer visitors two weeks of exploring its beautiful sunflower gardens. They also grow perennial flowers such as daffodils, zinnias, and other wildflowers on the farm.
If you want to take professional photography on these grounds, you have to obtain permission and pay a fee. They announce the dates you can visit their farm to pick flowers on their social media platforms.

Copper Creek Farm
Location: 1514 Reeves Station Rd SW, Calhoun, Georgia
Copper Creek Farm is a child-friendly farm where kids go to experience all kinds of farm fun and adventure during the fall festival. Some of the fun activities found on this farm include hayrides, kids zip line, duck races, petting barn, pony trains, cow trains, giant jumping pillow, talking pumpkin, corn mazes, pig races, corn pits, barn loft slide, steer roping, bunny Ville, pig races, mechanical bull, gem mining, animated chicken show, and monster pumpkin cannon.
The general admission ticket ranges from $15.89 – $28.97 plus tax, which allows free access to all these activities within the farm. The sunflower festival opens in June and ends when the last flower drops. The corn maze and u-pick pumpkin fields open in September.
Whimsy Flower Farm
Location: Lower Trackrock Road, Blairsville, Georgia
The Whimsy Flower Farm is not a u-pick flower farm. They deliver fresh-cut bouquets and floral designs on a wholesale basis. They have over 70 varieties of annuals, perennials, and dahlias. You can also buy different varieties of sunflowers and have them delivered to you in pots or containers.
Washington Farms
Location: 5691 Hog Mountain Road, Bogart, Georgia
Washington Farms has one of the most elaborate tractor rides in the State as part of the entertainment option during the fall festival. They also have fields of mixed wildflowers, an outstanding sunflower field, a corn maze, and a pumpkin farm.
Other activities you can engage in while you are here include cow train rides, giant jumping pillow, paintballing, ropes courses, fast pitch baseball, kids’ climbing wall, slides, zip lines, corn holes, human foosball, giant jumping pad, giant pirate ship, bouncing castles, and barnyard board games. The pick-your-own sunflower field opens in the fall and is open only on weekends.

Elliott Farms
Location: 4761 Holley Rd, Lizella, Georgia
Elliott Farms sells grass-fed Angus beef, corn, strawberries, freshly grown onions, and squash. The strawberries are available on a u-pick model, and the owners announce the picking dates and times on their website and social media platforms. They have a small sunflower patch.
You are not allowed to cut the stems here, but you can purchase a few stems to carry home with you. You are allowed to take photographs inside the sunflower field.
Oliver Farm Artisan Oils
Location: 110 7th Ave W, Pitts, Georgia
The Oliver Farm grows sunflowers and also extracts oil from these flowers when the season is over. They allow campers on the farm during the fall season. It is the only farm that allows on-site camping in Middle Georgia. Other types of cold-pressed oils they sell on the farm include pecan oil, peanut oil, benne oil, okra oil, and pumpkin seed oil.
You can tour their farm to see the beautiful sunflowers and their store to purchase these oils and flours milled from organically grown farm products.
Greene Acres Farm
Location: 952 Empire-Chester Hwy, Cochran, Georgia
Greene Acres Farm is a fairly new farm, as it was established in 2018. It specializes in the growth of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and sunflowers. They welcome a lot of people during the fall season in October and during the December holidays.
The activities your kids can engage in during this time include tractor rides, corn mazes, a petting zoo, and picking pumpkins. The sunflowers are available on a u-pick model.

Vesterfield Farms
Location: 1144 John Broome Rd, Cochran, Georgia
Vesterfield Farms grows its food organically by using composting manure, cover-cropping, and crop rotation. They grow the vegetables in greenhouses, something that guarantees they have fresh products all year long. In the open fields, they grow berries and sunflowers.
They do not have a u-pick model, but you can purchase different colored flowers when they are in season. They also sell pasture-raised eggs.
Sumerford Farms
Location: 1757 Upper River Rd, Americus, Georgia
There are over 1000 acres for farming here with well-kept grounds to hold all kinds of ceremonies, including beautiful wedding occasions and parties. Guests are allowed to take photos on the beautiful sunflower farm when the flowers are blooming. The rest of the grounds offer great trails where you can explore to enjoy stunning views of the landscape.

This is an old family-owned and operated u-pick flower farm that grows different flower varieties. They also grow other plants and vegetables such as pecans, Satsuma citrus, corn, pumpkins, apples, jams, and jellies. They have a u-pick sunflower and pumpkin season every year. They communicate the dates when they open on their social media platforms.
Southern Grace Farms
Location: 3131 Vickers Church Rd, Enigma, Georgia
During the summer, Southern Grace Farms offers a u-pick sunflower event. Your kids will enjoy playing on the repurposed playground.
You can explore the farm store to sample some of the craft products and apparel they have in stock here. Other u-pick flowers and crops they have at the farm include locally grown strawberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, and blueberries.
Rutland Farms
Location: 5641 Union Rd, Tifton, Georgia
Rutland is both a farm and a market that offers produce throughout the year. They hold some of the best outdoor events and festivals in the North on over 2100 acres. These events include the Saturday field fun, camping, field trips, fall festivals, summer festivals, and many more.
During the summer and fall festivals, they have a beautiful U-Pick pumpkin and sunflower farm. They also have a 15-acre corn maze. In December, they hold a Christmas tree hunting event. You can pick and cut a Christmas tree with your family during this period.
Other attractions on this farm include a petting zoo, a catch-and-release bass fishing tournament in the spring season, hayrides, face painting, and an Easter egg hunt.
Mallory’s Farm
Location: 5131 Bemiss Rd, Valdosta, Georgia
Mallory’s is a small farm that offers u-pick berries, cucumbers, corn, sunflowers, and freshly picked squash. You will be walking along very scenic and well-kept hiking areas, surrounded by beautiful sunflower gardens. There is a petting zoo on the farm, and your kids can enjoy taking horse rides on the property.

Deloach Family Farms LLC
Location: 1411 New Statenville Hwy, Valdosta, Georgia
Deloach Family Farms was established as a ranching farm in 1820. Today, it operates a farm-to-door delivery model where all the produce they grow is sold directly to the final consumer. Sunflower u-pick season begins in late August or early September until the last flower drops. Corn, pumpkins, and strawberries are available on a u-pick model as well. They have a farm shop that sells locally baked products.
Fifth Day Farm
Location: 5732 Clyattville-Nankin Rd, Valdosta, Georgia
The four-acre farm is a petting farm that was opened to the public a few years ago. There are different kinds of animals your kids can enjoy petting within the farm, including sheep, goats, poultry, and calves. They charge for taking professional photography sessions with the animals.
Fall is the most popular season as the farm owners organize all kinds of festivals for your family’s benefit. U-pick pumpkins, sunflowers, and berries are available on the farm during this season. You can also rent out their grounds for your birthday parties, weddings, and other social events.

Gilliard Farms

Gilliard Farm is a member of the Coastal Organic Growers, Georgia Organics, and Georgia Grown organizations. These are organizations for farms that grow their produce organically. The farm has been in the Gilliard family since 1874. They rear poultry, bees, and other farm animals.
They grow berries, onions, and other crops. They are currently not open as a u-pick farm, but they allow visitors to schedule visits to purchase pre-harvested berries and sunflower stems from their small sunflower field.
Poppell Farms
Location: 1765 Hyma Poppell Loop, Odum, Georgia
The summer and fall seasons at the Poppell Farms are great times to take your kids out and enjoy some adventure. They have a 10-acre corn maze in the fall as well as a vibrant sunflower patch. They also offer hayrides, a petting zoo, jumping pillows, tractor rides, steer roping, cow trains, and pony rides.

Bradberry Farms

They are currently not operating on a u-pick model but you can schedule a visit and buy freshly cut flowers to-go.
Ottawa Farms
Location: 702 Bloomingdale Rd, Bloomingdale, Georgia
The third-generation family-owned farm produces fresh vegetables all year long. During the summer and fall seasons, they have strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and sunflowers on a u-pick model. They also sell honey, melons, and grass-fed Angus beef animals. Sunflower stems are charged $1 each, and you have to carry shears and a container.

HK Farm
Location: 4537 Handy Kennedy Road, Cobbtown, Georgia
HK Farm is a large farm that has been in operation since 1869. It has grown to become a full-fledged operation, including a luxury resort, a small lake, and large tracts of land to grow all kinds of different crops, and well-manicured grounds to hold different kinds of events.
There are numerous recreational activities here, including taking horse rides and exploring the beautiful waters of the Ohoopee River. They have a beautiful sunflower farm that welcomes visitors in the summer and fall seasons on specific dates.
Ochlocknee Ridge Farms
