Maybe it is becasue we are big campers, but we absolutely adore state parks! Custer State Park is one of South Dakota’s most family-friendly destinations to learn and have fun all at once. The over 71,000 acres of open lands located in is more than enough to satisfy the needs of an adventurous person.
Explore the mountainous ranges, the animals that call the park home, or even the exciting campsite to house all those nature lovers from near and far. Go back in time to the 1800s, where gold was discovered by the famous General Custer as well as the log cabin where Badger Clark, South Dakota’s first poet laureate, lived. Top off the experience with a lovely picnic under the golden star.
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
The fun and adventure never end once you step through the doors of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. It has more than enough features to entertain and keep your kids occupied (even you!) and is the largest of its kind in the country. If you have a little science lover, then they will love you for a visit. The museum comes with a 5-floor feature that houses exhibits and interactive activities for the entire family.

Located on 1 Cedar Point Grove, Sandusky, OH, Cedar Point amusement park sits as the second oldest in the United States. Since opening its gates in 1870, the park has never failed on its mission to creating fun and memorable experiences for all visitors. The park features 72 rides and up to 16 roller coasters that will satisfy the needs of all thrill-seekers and adventure lovers.
There is also a water park on-site in addition to the rest areas, live entertainment lounges, and taste-bud-satisfying restaurants.
