We had almost 2 days in San Francisco as part of our 7-day West Coast cruise aboard the Discovery Princess and were invited to be guests of Visit Fairfield. They had a whirlwind tour for us! We would learn that Fairfield is in the heart of Solano County and is a city rich in diversity, history, and natural beauty. Straddling the midpoint between the vibrant metropolitan areas of San Francisco and Sacramento, Fairfield represents a harmonious blend of suburban calm, urban accessibility, and rural charm.

The Suisun Valley, just to the west of Fairfield, is particularly renowned for its wineries and is quickly becoming a sought-after destination for wine enthusiasts. Hands down, the Belly Flops are the main bag of jelly beans to invest in. They aren’t quite perfectly shaped and come in larger bags, with a bulk discount.
